Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are hereby accepted by you when formalising your order on the website and receiving confirmation by email from Globe Toddler, together with all of the details of the order.
Availability of equipment
Globe Toddler only processes an order placed by you after the respective payment is confirmed and therefore, cannot guarantee the availability of the equipment until the beginning of that process.
The colour of the equipment ordered may vary.
Prices
The prices indicated are in euros (€) and include VAT at the current rate.
Payment methods
Your order can be paid by bank transfer.
Equipment maintenance
You must check the condition of the rental equipment as soon as it is received and ensure that you maintain it in the same condition during the rental period.
Any anomaly should be immediately reported to Globe Toddler.
You must not attempt to repair the equipment under any circumstances.
Delivery and pickup
The delivery and pickup of the order are set when formalising the order on the website.
For deliveries between 05:00 and 08:00 and between 20:00 and 24:00, a 25 Euro surcharge will be added to your order.
No deliveries can be scheduled between 24:00 and 05:00.
Any change of delivery dates and/or location by you must be sent by email to Globe Toddler at least 48 hours in advance and is subject to confirmation by Globe Toddler.
You are responsible for ensuring that on the agreed date someone will be available to receive the order.
For each unsuccessful delivery attempt, the customer will be charged an additional amount of double the delivery fee.
If the delivery address is that of a hotel and you are not present at the time of delivery, you must inform the hotel that you are expecting an order from Globe Toddler.
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- not subletting or lending the rental equipment to anyone;
- checking at the time of delivery that the rental equipment is the same as ordered and is in good condition;
- carefully reading the instructions accompanying the rental equipment before use and following the directions throughout the period of use;
- ensuring that the rental equipment is safely and wisely used only for the intended purpose and in accordance with the instructions enclosed;
- being present and supervising the children using the rental equipment;
- ensuring that the rental equipment is returned in a condition that is consistent with the fulfilment of your obligations as a customer;
- the use of the rental equipment in their possession;
- any damage caused to the rental equipment;
- the costs of repairing or replacing the rental equipment.
Loss, damage, non-return or late return of the equipment
You accept full responsibility for taking care of, keeping and returning the rental equipment in good condition during the agreed rental period.
You will be charged with the costs resulting from loss and/or damage that the rental equipment has undergone during the agreement period.
If the equipment is returned to Globe Toddler with delay or not returned at all due to your fault, after the delivery date set in the order, Globe Toddler reserves the right to withhold the security deposit and charge additional amounts deemed reasonable by Globe Toddler until the rental equipment is returned.
Cancellation
Globe Toddler reserves the right to cancel the agreement with you at any time prior to delivery, if:
- there is not enough stock to deliver the rental equipment;
- it is not possible to deliver the rental equipment at the address stated by you;
- one or more of the items ordered were presented with a wrong price due to typographical error.
Cancellation Policy
Up to 7 days before rental: 90% of rental will be returned (10% of rental is to cover transaction and admin fees).
From 7 days before up to 72 hours before rental period begins: 50% of rental value will be returned.
Less than 72 hours before rental period begins: charged in full.
Refusal to rent
Globe Toddler can refuse to rent equipment to you for any reason whatsoever.
Liability
Globe Toddler shall not be held responsible for any failure to deliver the rental equipment that you ordered or any delay in the delivery caused by any event or circumstance which is beyond the control of Globe Toddler, such as strikes, protests, fires, floods, explosions or accidents.
Ownership
All the equipment rented to the Customer is owned by Globe Toddler.
Data privacy
The personal data provided by you is not disclosed to third parties.
The data collected is intended for the processing of orders and communication with you and processing information requests.
Applicable legislation
These terms and conditions are subject to Portuguese legislation. Legal proceedings should be referred to the Portuguese Courts.
Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
Globe Toddler reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, with or without prior notice, in accordance with its criteria. The most recent version of the Terms and Conditions shall replace all previous versions.
Language
In case of conflict, the English version shall prevail over the text translated into other languages.
