What services does Globe Toddler offer?

Globe Toddler specializes in family-friendly travel solutions throughout the Algarve. We provide equipment rentals (prams, car seats, cots), customized family itineraries, accommodation recommendations and local guides that understand the unique needs of traveling with young children.

What age groups do you cater to?

We provide services for families with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. Our equipment and services are specially selected to meet the developmental and safety needs of each age group.

Which geographical areas do you cover?

We currently operate in central and eastern Algarve, including Almancil, Altura, Faro, Fuzeta, Loulé, Manta Rota, Olhão, Quarteira, Quinta do Lago, Tavira, Vila Real de Santo António and Vilamoura

How far in advance should I book your services?

We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks before your travel dates, especially during peak holiday seasons (summer and major school holidays). For last-minute requests, please contact us directly and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Equipment Rental

What baby equipment do you have available?

Our equipment inventory includes trusted brands of:

- Strollers (standard and double);

- Car seats (infant carriers, convertible seats, and boosters);

- Travel cots and portable beds;

- High chairs;

- Baby carriers;

- Bath tubs;

- Sterilizers and bottle warmers;

- Toys;

- Scooters;

- Beach equipment.

Are your baby equipment items sanitized between rentals?

We follow strict hygiene protocols for all of our equipment. Each item is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized using eco-friendly, child-safe cleaning products after each use.

How does equipment delivery and collection work?

We offer delivery and collection at your accommodation, airport, or another location of your choice within our service areas with a reasonable travel cost associated with delivery. Our team will set up any equipment requiring assembly and demonstrate how to use it properly. Collection is arranged at your convenience before departure.

Alternatively, the equipment may be collected and returned at no additional cost from our store situated at Rua General Humberto Delgado, no 51, Tavira, 8800-670.

What happens if the equipment gets damaged during our rental period?

If damage occurs, please notify us immediately. Minor damages may not incur charges, but significant damage and/or significant soiling of the equipment may incur partial or potentially even full replacement costs. We recommend checking your travel insurance to see if it covers rental equipment.

Bookings & Payments

How do I make a booking?

You can book directly through our website by selecting your dates, delivery and collection details and the equipment you would like to rent. Alternatively, you can contact our customer service team via email or phone to discuss your specific needs and create a customized package.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept online payments or bank transfer. For bank transfers, bookings are confirmed with the receipt of proof of payment, once payment has cleared.

What is your cancellation policy?

- Cancellations made up to 7 days before rental: 90% of the rental cost will be returned (10% is retained to cover transaction and administration fees);

- Cancellations made from 7 days up to 72 hours before the rental period begins: 50% of rental value will be returned;

- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the rental period: charged in full.

Safety

Are your car seats compliant with European safety standards?

All our car seats meet or exceed the latest European safety standards (ECE R44/04 or ECE R129) and are regularly inspected and maintained. We provide detailed instructions for proper installation and use.

What languages do your customer service representatives speak?

Our customer service team is multilingual, with representatives fluent in English, Portuguese and Italian. If you require assistance in another language, please let us know in advance.

How can I contact you if I have an emergency during my trip?

We provide a 24/7 emergency contact number for all our customers. This number is included in your booking confirmation and can be used for urgent matters during your trip.
